Welcome to MissmanagemenT, a label of the MT Untertainment group of labels, devoted to free music by DWM. Inspired by the writings of B.H. Skinner, this is the label where MT puts it’s money where it’s mouth is, namely, a label totally independent and free of the constraints of the music business and the shackles of commerce. Missmanagement CDs are always free! Inspired by the freedom inherent in the internet and MP3 technology, MissmanagemenT releases are an attempt at combining this spirit with the medium of traditional CD. Now, of course, we have to spend money to create the releases, but that isn’t the point. Once created, they exist free of capitalism and the music business. There are no big advertising budgets involved, no big promotion campaigns, no kissing slimey music journalist asses for a story, no guest lists and no cigar-smoking music business egos involved. Here, creativity exists without the shackles that the music business inflicts upon its artists. You want a copy? Here, have one, enjoy it. Its that simple. Why DWM? Well, DWM has, since its inception in 1984 in San Francisco, attempted to operate outside of the music business. DWM recordings are never copyrighted, and the songs are not registered with GEMA or any other mechanical royalty collecting agency. We have never signed a recording contract, and have always given our recordings to labels for free. MissmanagemenT is simply an extension of this philosophy. Please write for availability. If you are interested in more free DWM recordings, please visit MT3, MT Undertainment’s internet label devoted to free downloads, complete with cover.
Please note, all MissmanagemenT releases are also available for free download and streaming through out Bandcamp page.

Title: Guitarred And Feathered
Label: MissmanagemenT Format: CD Catalog #: Have One (MT-353) Release Date: June 23rd, 2008
DWM's 100th release as well as the first release on the newest MT sub-label is DWM's epic "Guitarred And Feathered", an album of all new, studio material recorded in Fuerth, Germany and Adine, Italy. Less experimental and much more guitar oriented, it features a great full color cover throughout, including a real cigarette under the tray card. Pressed on a black plastic, this twelve song CD features Joseph B. Raimond, Ralf Lexis, Adrian Gormley, Frank Abendroth, Laurent Gabiot and Jeandra Raimond.

Title: Künstlergruppe
Label: MissmanagemenT Format: CD Catalog #: Have Two (MT-322) Release Date: October 1st, 2010
Recorded at roughly the same time as the "Guitarred And Feathered" songs, this thirteen song collection features only performances and artwork by Joseph B. Raimond, hence the ironic title. A bit more experimental than its sibling release, it also featurs a wonderful full color cover throughout and is pressed on orange plastic.

Title: A Portrait Of Your Death
Label: MissmanagemenT Format: CD Catalog #: Have Three (MT-556) Release Date: September 1st, 2009
The third ever live performance of DWM in 25 years finds them at the John Peel Festival in Koeln, Germany. A benefit to raise money for the John Peel Heart Foundation, this concert found Joseph B. Raimond, Ralf Lexis and Adrian Gormley together on a stage for the first time. Adrian even flew in from California for this one show. This is the fifth installment in our series of free CDs, and is pressed on red plastic. For more information on other live releases, please refer to our live page.

Title: Retch
Label: MissmanagemenT Format: CD Catalog #: Have Four (MT-557) Release Date: August 22nd, 2011
For the most part, Retch is a collection of instrumental DWM outakes and spare tracks. They were thrown onto the master without much thought to order or flow, and many were perhaps even considered unfinished at the time they were recorded. You’ll hear that wonderful invention of analog recording techniques, tape hiss, on some of the tracks, betraying the fact that they were recorded on our old analog 8 track, which died years ago. Take it or leave it, Retch is what it is. Most of the last half of tracks were originally slated to become part of our aborted DWM/Motorpsycho collaboration project “Music From The Back Seat Of My Fjord” (thanks Jeannette for the great title). Other tracks were slated to become part of a new DWM studio album that just sort of lost steam. By the way, the spoken word intro to “Trekno”, recorded a few hours before he actually left, was the last thing Bernard H. Worrick recorded before moving to Florida and into Wal-mart oblivion. Recorded for the most part in Fuerth, Germany, some individual tracks were also recorded in Adine, Italy and Berkeley, California. Features performances by Joseph B. Raimond, Bernard Worrick, Ralf Lexis, Adrian Gormley, Jeannette Gustavus, Michael Schulz-Pernice, .mario., Andropovski and Berrrrnd. Pressed on black plastic.

Label: MissmanagemenT Format: CD Catalog #: Have Five (MT-558) Release Date: December 20th , 2009
Twenty-five years to the day after the release of the very first DWM release (see early cassettes), DWM releases this re-mixed and partially re-recorded version of their classic cassette-only release. Part one of Historical Obscurity, a planned series of releases that will feature new versions of old, out of print tracks. Originally recorded in San Francisco when DWM was based there, many of the very experimental tracks were assignments for an electronic music class that Joseph B. Raimond was taking at the time. Cover includes photography by Jeandra Raimond of a bronze sculpture by Joseph B. Raimond that was inspired by the original cover art. Besides the original line-up of Joseph B. Raimond, Bernard Worrick, Rich Ferguson and Frank Abendroth, it also features on the new recordings input by Ralf Lexis, Peter Schuster and Jeandra Raimond. The original cover art of the cassette is also included in the cover. Pressed on blue plastic.

Title: Do Quermi Ran
Label: MissmanagemenT Format: CD Catalog #: Have Six (MT-563) Release Date: October 1st, 2011
DWM's newest studio recording from 2011 finds them much more in "band" mode than ever before. DWM stalwarts Joseph B. Raimond and Ralf Lexis are joined by new members Stefan Schweiger on drums and Alex Kamerer on guitar, bass and synth. This is the first time DWM has recorded extensively with a drummer and the result is a totally new sounding DWM instrumental recording that is much more dynamic than most previous recordings. Ten tracks in all, they still feature that DWM garage rock sound that defies all catagorization, which runs the whole spectrum from spaced out psychedelic rock to loud industrial influenced noise rock.

Title: Gosia
Label: MissmanagemenT Format: CD Catalog #: Have Seven (MT-568) Release Date: February 19th, 2016
Recorded soon after "Do Quermi Ran", this recording can be seen as a logical devolopment in the sound of DWM. Similar to Do Quermin Ran, this recording, also from 2011, sees DWM in an almost classical band format. Recorded "live" in the practice room, the various tracks were then augmented with various overdubs in the studio, and include such gems as "Mail Ankolja", which almost falls apart, the driving organ based "Ham And Organs", and the beautiful "Adriana Paintress", one of the finest and moving recordings ever by DWM. Featuring the "band" version of DWM with Stefan Schweiger on drums, Joseph B. Raimond on bass, Ralf Lexis on guitar and Alex Kammerer on guitar and keyboards. Extra art is added by Allen Shain, Cedric Raimond, Kay Lehning and Charlotte Schweiger.

This is a three song mini CD featuring the drumming talents of Rat Scabies, former longtime drummer of the Damned, one of the world's first and foremost punk bands. Featuring the title track in both a tame as well as a distorted grunge version, as well as "Sense Of Tumour", a light sax driven piece featuring Adrian Gormley. In addition, some of our usual crew including Joseph B. Raimond, Ralf Lexis and a welcome return of Bernard H. Worrick, who offers a previously unpublished written work. To top it all of, a special packaging featuring, well, real bees!

Title: Tape Hissed
Label: MissmanagemenT Format: Tape & CD Catalog #: Have Nine (MT-594) Release Date: September 2nd, 2016
Part two in our series of remixed and re-recorded tracks, Tape Hissed features tracks that originally appeared on cassette-only releases, most of which are long sold out. The "tape" part of this release, sides one and two, features new recordings of "Help, We Need A Melody", the first ever DWM composition especially re-recorded for this release, although as the tape is squeezed behind the tray on this special release, we doubt anyone will go through the trouble of winding it onto a cassette to listen to it. Let us know if you do! Side three is a full length CD. Contributions on this release include Joseph B. Raimond, Bernard Worrick, Ralf Lexis, Denise Kusiak, Peter Schuster, Frank Abendroth, Michael Wurzer, John Mervin, Dave Fanning, Donna, Klaus Lipke, John Eberly, Jello Biafra, Knut Friebel, Helmut Burhart, Adrian Alecu, .mario., Marcel, Rich Ferguson, Michael Asch and Fraulein Niemand. Weird cover art makes this a very fun release.

Title: Confusion Rocks!
Label: MissmanagemenT Format: CD & Download Catalog #: Have Ten (MT-595) Release Date: January 28th, 2017
Our main recording from 2015, Confusion Rocks! was meant for a quick release but was delayed until early 2017. Spacey industrial drone rock is the name of the game here on these nine outstanding tracks. Featuring the graphic talents of Phil Abendroth for the first time, in addition to Joseph B Raimond on guitars, keyboards and art and Stefan Schweiger on drums. This is also the first release on MissmanagemenT, DWM's label for free music, to be released on both CD and as a free download/streaming through Bandcamp at the same time.

Title: Roadkilled!
Label: MissmanagemenT Format: CD Catalog #: Have Eleven (MT-598) Release Date: September 19th, 2017
In the summer of 2016 DWM got together a three-piece instrumental lineup to play a special show on the 23rd of July at the K15 in Augsburg, Germany. For this show, Alex Kammerer played guitar, Stefan Schweiger was on drums and Theramine, and Joseph B. Raimond played his monster guitar and bass double neck with effects and loops. Very "stoner rock" oriented, this guitar dominated set consisted of six well rehearsed tracks that are to date the most guitar oriented work DWM has ever released, mixed together with very experimental, almost "kraut rock" aspects. To highlight the rock aspect of the recordings, this line-up of DWM was given the moniker "stone trio". Professionally mixed and mastered by Alex Kammerer and Schwarzmann, this recording also features the best sound quality of a live DWM recording to date. Stadlmeier, HumanHate666, Acid Discharge and Kopfschmerztablette are featured as special guests on the last, extended experimental track.

Title: Orgastic Jams
Label: MissmanagemenT Format: CD Catalog #: Have Fifteen (MT-608) Release Date: February 2nd, 2019
In March 2015, Tom Murphy sent his old high school pal Joseph B. Raimond some photos he had taken of the desert, near to where Tom lived in Arizona. Joseph loved the photos, and asked Tom if he could use some of them on a DWM release. Two weeks after sending Joseph the photos, Tom took his own life. In pain from chronic arthritis and homeless, living now in his car, Tom took his life in the parking lot of a VA hospital that refused to treat him. This recording is for Tom. Recording featuring Joseph B. Raimond, Ralf Lexis, Alex Kammerer, Stefan Schweiger, Adrian Gormley and Michael Wurzer. Photography by Tom Murphy, cover drawings by Joseph B. Raimond.

Title: Covfefe
Label: MissmanagemenT Format: CD Catalog #: Have Nineteen (MT-623) Release Date: May 16th, 2020
Although Doc Wör Mirran doesn't really consider itself a political band, it is hard not get influenced, and yes, inspired by the stupidity of the world these days, especially by the Orange Anus currently residing in the White House. When he tweeted his infamous "covfefe" tweet, DWM felt so inspired, that those seven, simple letters evolved into the new, eleven track DWM studio album from 2017, featuring the new studio versions of many of the tracks that were featured at their concerts and the resulting live albums. With contributions from Stefan Schweiger, Michael Wurzer, Bernard Worrick, Joseph B. Raimond and .rizla 23.
